Since jan-2014 onwards some offices are calling to solve their
problems as they are day begined for advanced date.tHIS ONE IS

Therefore a solution is given


1. Download the attached <HolidyaUpdation2014KAVASU.rar> file
2. Extract it in sql server (desktop or anywhere)
3. Open the folder <HolidyaUpdation2014KAVASU> and execute in same
location by step no 4
4. Open <ALL_IN_ONE_KAVASU.exe >
5. Enter the password and click on OK
6. After updation press ENTER

The Government has already announced the Seventh Central Pay Commission (SCPC). So far six Pay Commissions have been set up from 1946 by the Government of India to review and recommend wage structure for all the central government employees including postal, railway, defence civilian employees and armed forces. All the matters pertaining to the government servants like pay and allowances, promotion policy, retirement benefits, service condition, etc., have been thoroughly reviewed by these Pay Commissions after every ten years and they submit recommendations to the government for the approval.

Grameen Dak Sevaks

(a) the State-wise number of Grameen Dak Sevaks working throughout the country at present;

(b) whether the Ministry proposes to appoint these Grameen Dak Sevaks to the posts of postman and MTS on the basis of their seniority;

(c) if not, by when these Grameen Dak Sevaks are likely to be appointed to the posts of postman and MTS;

(d) whether the Ministry has received a demand letter from them demanding better facilities; and

(e) if so, the details of the action taken in this regard?

ANSWER

THE MINISTER OF STATE IN THE MINISTRY OF COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (DR. (SMT.) KILLI KRUPARANI)

(a) As on 01.01.2013, the total working strength of various categories of Gramin Dak Sevaks is 263326. State-wise and UT wise details is at Annexure-I.

(b) Statutory recruitment rules of MTS already provide for their absorption to the posts of MTS on the basis of seniority. However, there is no proposal for their absorption to the posts of Postman on the basis of seniority.

(c) Absorption of Gramin Dak Sevaks to the posts of postman and MTS can only be made as per the provisions of statutory recruitment rules of postman and MTS.

(d) It is not clear from the question, which specific letter is being mention. However, some letters regarding inclusion of the category of Gramin Dak Sevaks within the purview of 7th Central pay Commission have been received.

(e) Gramin Dak Sevaks are not Central Government employees and this issue is within the domain of DoPT and Ministry of Finance.

DATA ENTRY AND MIGRATION OF OLD SANCHAY DATA WITH NEW SOFTWARE-FINACLE

Dear All

        As of now we are in advance to migrate our old manual data and existing digitalis ed sanchay data into forthcoming new software of finacle.

        for this purpose all post office are need to update old manual data held by every post offices. Once it migrated there will be no option to edit or re-do the data entry.

        Therefore as I known and come out the difficulties while making the manual data entry is placed and pointed as under:-

       1.    All post offices not done the segregation the record  in a such a way to easy to do the data entry.
       2.    Discharged/Transferred out records have not been separated from the un discharged certificates and not closed accounts.
       3.    While making the data entry into "data entry tool" all closed items are being entering. This is one of the major difficulty to update the record and giving the balance agreement.
      4.     Some non interested persons are making the data entry with false statistics/ figures to complete the tasks.
      5.     Denomination of the certificates are differs with manual records after making the data entry.


    Therefore   the following  procedures are suggested to SMOOTH migration of the data with advanced technology.

   1.       Separate the discharged and closed items from the ledger/ binders.
   2.      After separation once all the records of separated  has to verify and confirm whether the live /undischarged items are remained with closed accounts.
   3.      Once again check the live and undischarged items to ensure the correctness.
   4.      Then prepare the list of undischarged accounts and find the correct balance for submission of higher authority.
   5.       Use the Data Entry Tool and update the old data of manual records and keep ready.
   6.      If you are using the Sanchay module to update the manual record, it is much better. Otherwise you can use the "DataEntryTool" released by Infosys.
   7.      As on today the the option of the data entry for NSC-8th issue and NSC-9th issue not provided by the SDC Chennai.
